Acadia University

Acadia University is a university located in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, Canada. It was established in 1838. It has just under 4000 students. For ten consecutive years, Acadia has won Maclean's reputational survey as best overall. Acadia University's most outstanding factor is its Acadia Advantage program. The initiative is unique in Canada, and it integrates the use of notebook computers, which all students are given, into the undergraduate curriculum. It also has the highest tuition in Canada, in part because of the cost of giving students notebook computers.

The university's sports teams are called the Axemen. They participate in the Atlantic University Sports conference.
