Adrian Mole

Adrian Mole is a character created by the English author Sue Townsend. He was a rather sad and reclusive character. The author famously spotted the future Prime Minister John Major (who at the time was a minor cabinet minister) in a photograph and said that Adrian would grow up to become just like him.
