Anthrax (band)

Anthrax is a New York City-based heavy metal rock group, who released their first full-length album in 1983.

They also had an appearance on the television show Married with Children.

Discography

Band members include:
  • Scott Ian, guitar.
  • John Bush, vocals.
  • Frank Bello, bass.
  • Charlie Benante, drums, guitar.

During the terrorist-related anthrax outbreak in the United States in 2001, the band altered their Web page to provide information about the disease, because many people had come there simply by entering "anthrax.com" in their Web browsers.

Anthrax were also an anarcho punk band formed in Gravesend, Kent, England during the early 1980s. They released singles on the Crass Records and Small wonder labels, as well as having a track on the Crass Records released Bullshit Detector Volume 2 in 1982.
