Antichrist Superstar
Anti-Christ Super Star is Marilyn Manson's third musical release. Many say it is his greatest album as of yet. It was released in the year 1996. This album raised national awareness to the openly anti-Christian band, and protesters gathered in great masses to burn his albums and other merchandise. It has been noted that burning his albums and merchandise does little good to stop him. In order to burn things pertaining to him, one must spend one's own money to buy them first - money which goes to supporting Manson and his band. In effect, by burning things, the protesters are only giving Marilyn Manson more money.Manson has been quoted as saying, "I am Christianity's best friend" because he feels that the more people don't like his works and beliefs, the more they turn to God, which in turn makes him a promoter of the Church.
