Baltimore-Washington Parkway

The Baltimore-Washington Parkway (B-W Parkway) is a Federally owned Expressway-class highway, maintained by the Department of the Interior, running in parallel with Interstate 95 between Baltimore, Maryland and Washington, DC. It connects in DC with Route 295, which is a feeder route to Interstate 295, and connects to Maryland State Route 295. The route specifically prohibits commercial trucks, and provides a significant commuter route within the Baltimore-Washington region. One major user of the B-W Parkway is the National Security Agency which has its own exit off of the parkway specifically for its employees only.
