Bonding

In telecommunication, the term bonding has the following meanings:

1. In electrical engineering, the process of connecting together metal parts so that they make low resistance electrical contact for direct current and lower frequency alternating currents.

2. The process of establishing the required degree of electrical continuity between two or more conductive surfaces that are to be joined.
