Bowling Green State University

Bowling Green State University (BGSU) is a public, four-year institution located in Bowling Green, Ohio, USA; about 20 miles south of Toledo, Ohio on I-75. Established in 1910, it now boats a student body of about 20,200. It offers over 200 undergraduate programs, as well as master's and doctoral degrees in a variety of areas. In sports, BGSU is a member of the Mid-American Conference (MAC) and Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) and its mascot is the falcon. The student operated, independent daily newspaper is the BG News.

It should not be confused with Western Kentucky University, which is located in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

It is also the setting of the web comic Mac Hall.
