Buckethead

Buckethead is the pseudonym of a mystery guitarist who has recorded several solo albums, in addition to his work with Primus bassist Les Claypool, and Bootsy Collins. His stage persona at all times wears a white mask, and a cardboard bucket reminiscent of those used by Kentucky Fried Chicken atop his head. Another alias that he occasionally records under is Death Cube K.

The music of Buckethead tends to be inspired by themes of science fiction and horror films, robots, and monsters. At one point, he claimed to be writing music for a theme park he wanted to build. Fans have speculated about the true identity of the guitarist, but with no clear evidence to go on, generally agree that such matters are best left unknown.

Buckethead has been a member of Guns 'n Roses since 2000.
