Buckingham Palace Gardens

Buckingham Palace Gardens are the Queen's back garden. It is a 42-acre site in the City of Westminster, London, with a 19th century lake. The gardens are between Constitution Hill to the north, Hyde Park Corner to the west, Grosvenor Place to the south-west and the Royal Mews and Buckingham Palace to the south and east.

Unlike the nearby Royal Parks of London, it is not usually open to the public, but does open August and September each year as part of the opening of Buckingham Palace itself. The gardens are where the Queen's tea parties are held, and is home to a flock of captive flamingoes.

The gardens are regualrly surveyed for their moths.
