Chris Cornell

Christopher Cornell was born July 20, 1964 in Seattle Washington. He is most well-known as the lead singer of Soundgarden, which wrote and recorded the hits Rusty Cage and Black Hole Sun. He currently sings with Audioslave.

After Soundgarden split up, and before joining Audioslave, he began a career as a solo artist, releasing the Euphoria Morning album.

While in Soundgarden, he recorded an album with members of Pearl Jam as Temple Of The Dog, in tribute to his friend Andrew Wood.

In 1990 he married Susan Silver, Soundgarden's manager.
