Christopher Pike

Christopher Pike is a fictional character in Star Trek. He appeared in the pilot episode The Cage as captain of the Starship Enterprise, and was then played by Jeffrey Hunter. This pilot was rejected; although another was made, and the character of Pike was dropped.

He also appeared in the episode The Menagarie, a recycling of footage for the pilot episode. New footage was shot of him, after a crippling and disfiguring accident, and he was played by Sean Kenney. The character ended up living on Talos V permanently.
