Classic FM was the UK's first national commercial radio station. It broadcasts classical music in a popular and accessible style.It broadcasts nationally on FM and on Sky Digital.
The station is owned by the GWR Group.
Spinoffs include a Classic FM magazine and Classic FM TV
There is also a Classic FM in the Netherlands, which has recently disappeared from the ether, but is available nationally on cable.
It transmits soft classical music 24 hours per day.
