Cosanti

Cosanti

In the year 1956, Paolo Soleri, moved to Scottsdale, Arizona, and settled with his late wife, Colly Soleri in what is now called Cosanti. Cosanti was created originally as a factory and studio for the windbells that Paolo Soleri would late be world renowned for.

Today, Cosanti is known for its beautiful bronze bells and ceramic bells. Visitors to Cosanti can observe the construction of the bells. Even more interesting than the bells is the construction of the buildings, and how they were raised from silt and concrete.

The buildings at Cosanti are concrete and cement. These building are designed using the silt cast method, a method coined, and developed by Paolo Soleri.
