Cyberjaya

Cyberjaya or Cyber City is a key part of the Multimedia Super Corridor in Malaysia. It is situated about 50 km from Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia.

The official opening ceremony for Cyberjaya was held in July 1999. Since then, a number of high-tech companies have relocated to Cyberjaya. A flagship early component of Cyberjaya was the Multimedia University, known locally as MMU.

During 2001 and 2002, extensive building progress could be seen in Cyberjaya. The construction of large numbers of new buildings will no doubt continue during 2003.
