Dave Chappelle

Dave Chappelle (b. August 23, 1972) is an African-American comedian and actor. His first major role was in Robin Hood: Men in Tights, and he later appeared as the abrasive comedian in The Nutty Professor. He had a major role in Con Air, and then wrote and starred in Half-Baked.

For the 2002-2003 television season, he got his own weekly television show on Comedy Central. His outragious sketch comedy (and especially his use of racial stereotypes) made his show very popular very quickly. By the end of the season, it was the 2nd highest rated show on the network, second only to South Park.
