\nDover is located at 48°15'13" North, 116°36'1" West (48.253583, -116.600309)¹. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 3.5 km² (1.3 mi²). 3.5 km² (1.3 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.
