Emmetten

Emmetten is a municipality in the canton of Nidwalden in Switzerland. It has a population of 1200 of which 12% is of foreign nationality (2002). The area of Emmetten is 2863 hectares.

There are 100 local businesses which employ 350 people. 25% of these are in the agricultural sector, 18% in trade and industry, 57% in services.
