Faye Wong

Faye Wong, or Wang Fei (王菲 Pinyin: Wáng Fēi) (born August 8, 1969), is a Chinese actress and cantopop singer.

Born in Beijing, People's Republic of China, she is a very popular singer in Asia. Her work are mainly in Cantonese and Mandarin, sometimes also in English.

In addition to original songs, she has also recorded cover songs of western singers, like Tori Amos. Her Chinese version of The Cranberries' "Dreams" is played several times in the movie Chungking Express.

Her claim to fame in the western world is the end title song "Eyes on me" for the video game Final Fantasy VIII.
