François-Paul Brueys D'Aigalliers

Vice-Admiral François-Paul Brueys D'Aigalliers, Count de Brueys, (February 12, 1753 - August 1, 1798) was the French commander in the Battle of the Nile.

He was born in a house in Rue Boucairie, Uzes, Gard, France in a house which now bears a plaque with his name.

He died on his ship L'Orient in Abukir during the Battle of the Nile.
