Free German Trade Union Federation

The Free German Trade Union Federation (German: Freier Deutscher Gewerkschaftsbund (FDGB)) was the trade union federation in East Germany.

In 1986 98% of all workers in East Germany were members. It was dissolved in May 1990, before German Reunification. It was part of the National Front and had representatives in the Volkskammer.
