GMAC Bowl

The GMAC Bowl is a post-season NCAA-sanctioned Division 1-A college football bowl game that has been played annually at 40,646-seat Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Alabama, since 1999. It pits teams from the Mid-American Conference and Conference USA.

Formerly known as the Mobile Alabama Bowl (1999-2000).

Corporate title sponsor: GMAC Financial Services (2000-present).

  • 2000 Southern Mississippi 28, Texas Christian 21
  • 2001 Marshall 64, East Carolina 61 (2 overtimes)
