Green Carnation (band)

This article is a stub. You can help Wikipedia by fixing it.

Green Carnation is a Norwegian progressive metal (more "progressive" than "metal") band, the creation of ex-Emperor bass player Tchort and formed in 1990. The band took a long hiatus after recording a demo, and their first album, Journey to the End of the Night, wasn't recorded until 1999. 2001 saw the release of Light of Day, Day of Darkness, notable because it consists of only a single, 60-minute song. In 2003 Green Carnation released A Blessing in Disguise.

Current members are:

  • Tchort - guitar, lyrics, and composer
  • Bjørn Harstad - guitar
  • Stein Roger Sordal - bass
  • Anders Kobro - drums
  • Kjetil Nordhus - vocals
  • Bernt Hoen - piano and keyboard

Many of these members were also involved in the band Into the Woods.
