Green Goblin II

The Green Goblin II is a fictional character in Marvel Comics stories and a foe of Spider-Man. Harold ("Harry") Osborn, Peter Parker's friend, suffered a nervous breakdown following the death of his father Norman Osborn, who was the first Green Goblin).

Harry blamed Spiderman for his father's death and donned the guise of the Green Goblin as the second Green Goblin. Unlike the original Green Goblin, he has no superhuman powers and is not intellectually gifted. Eventually Harry came to his senses and abandoned the Green Goblin persona.

He later resumed it and sought to enhance his strength through an untested formula. Whilst it initially succeeded, the side effects poisoned him.
