Helena Bonham Carter

Helena Bonham Carter (born May 26, 1966) is a British actress renowned for her portrayal of pre- and early 20th century female characters, particularly in Merchant-Ivory films.

She was born in Golders Green, and educated at Westminster School.

She has one son, born October 4, 2003, fathered by Tim Burton who she met while filming Planet of the Apes.
