Hermosillo

Hermosillo is the capital of the desert state of Sonora in Mexico, It is centrally located within the state and is close to several other major Mexican cities, such as Tijuana and Mexicali (both approximately 1 hour by plane) and to the U.S cities Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona. The city is served by Ignacio L. Pesqueira International Airport.

Hermosillo is also close to the touristic town of Puerto Penasco.
