House (school)

Houses in schools can be likened to the colleges of a university in that it serves as a method of dividing the students up into groups.

Houses may be named after particular teachers or colors or any suitable term within reason. Usually houses exist in order for sports to have opposing teams to play against without having to resort to interschool competitions.
