In Nomine

In Nomine is a role-playing game based on the French game In Nomine Satanis / Magna Veritas.

Players typically assume the role of angels and demons in a setting that draws heavily on the traditional Christian mythos.

The battle between good and evil is carried out in both physical and spiritual realms. A defeat in the physical realm results in the destruction of one of the character's "vessels". A celestial being is only truly vanquished when its spiritual form is conquered.

Characters each follow an angelic or demonic leader and may acquire various talents and abilities from them as rewards.
