John Denham

John Yorke Denham (born July 15, 1953) is the United Kingdom member of Parliament for Southampton Itchen. He is a member of the Labour Party, and of the Privy Council.

He was a Minister in the Home Office, until he suddenly resigned in March 2003 over the Iraq War. He was seen as a government loyalist - Southampton University Students' Union had revoked his lifetime membership for his support of tuition fees.
