Judi Dench

Dame Judi Dench (D.B.E 1988) is a renowned British actress, born Judith Olivia Dench in York on December 9, 1934. Among her many appearances have been the television series As Time Goes By and A Fine Romance, as well as, the following movies:

• Goldeneye (the first of several James Bond films in which she played M)
• Mrs. Brown (1997; also known as Her Majesty, Mrs. Brown)
• Shakespeare in Love (1998)

• The Shipping News (2001)

In 1971, Judi Dench married British actor Michael Williams, who died of cancer in 2001. They starred together in a British sitcom, A Fine Romance.
