Keio Electric Railway

The Keio Electric Railway (京王電気鉄道 Keio Denki Tetsudo) is a private railway in Tokyo, Japan. It connects the western suburbs of the city (Chofu, Fuchu, Hachioji, Hino, Inagi, Sagamihara, Tama) with the city center.

The name "Keio" is a contraction for "Tokyo-Hachioji."

Lines

The Keio network is based around the central Keio Line. Branches from that line include:

  • Keio Dobutsuen Line
  • Keio Inokashira Line
  • Keio Keibajo Line
  • Keio New Line
  • Keio Sagamihara Line
  • Keio Takao Line
