The car seats two, has a range of typically 50 to 70 km between charges, with a top speed of 75 km/h, The chassis is made of galvanized steel and the shell is made of GRP.

The Kewet was originally developed and produced in Hadsund Denmark in the period 1991 to 1995. Production moved to Nordhausen Germany for a while, but there were problems, and it was later relocated back to Hadsund. Production rights were then acquired by Kollega Bil in 1998.
