Khobar Towers bombing

The Khobar Towers bombing occurred in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.

19 U.S. servicemen were killed and 372 wounded on June 25, 1996 by a terrorist car bomb at Khobar Towers, part of a housing complex for military personnel.On June 21, 2001 an indictment was issued in U.S. District Court in Alexandria, Virginia charging the following people with with murder, conspiracy, and other changes related to the bombing.

  • Ibrahim Salih Mohammed al-Yacoub
  • Nine other Saudiss
