Kuala Lumpur Sentral

Kuala Lumpur Sentral is the central train station of Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. Opened on April 15, 2001, it was built to replace the old colonial-era station at Brickfields, which remains open for commuter trains only.

Technically, Kuala Lumpur Sentral refers to the entire office, hotel, condominium and mall development surrounding the station, while the station itself is known as Stesen Sentral. Phase One of the complex is nearing completion, while Phase Two is targeted for 2010.
