• Dome of the Rock, or Masjid Al Sakhrah in Jerusalem
• Faisal Mosque in Islamabad, Pakistan
• Hagia Sophia in Istanbul (Was a mosque from 1453 until 1934, is now a museum)
• Jama Masjid, Delhi, the Friday Mosque of Delhi.
• Masjid al Haram in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, the Great Mosque, holiest in Islam
