Location
Location is position in physical space, expressed in relative to other things' locations. A real location can often be designated by Cartesian coordinates. One's own personal location is often designated: "here"AVL is Automatic Vehicle Location.
In finance, a position means entitlement to receive or obligation to deliver an asset or financial instrument, as in "long position" (ownership) and "short position" (obligation to deliver).
