Long Island Iced Tea

A Long Island Ice Tea is a cocktail made with:

• 1/2 ounce vodka
• 1/2 ounce gin
• 1/2 ounce white rum
• 1/2 ounce Cointreau
• 1 ounce lemon juice
• cola

Build all ingredients in an ice tea glass, top with cola and garnish with lemon wedge.

Like most cocktails it came about in the prohibition era, the name suggesting a non-alcholic drink (Iced Tea). Long Island is a suburb of New York.
