Ah Madeira Park, the best town in the world...

The Central Office is a large single story concrete office located in the hart of town. It's surronded by a large chain-link fence with access on both the back and the front. A large generator is outside. The CO also hosts 2 Air conditioners and 3 antennas on its roof. Inside is a small office, and one main room which contains all the local switching/frame hardware and hardware for relay of fiber optics up the coast, and trunks down to Sechelt and Vancouver.

The best pay phone is the one near the government wharf, it's a Nortel Millinium so the line itself is a regular line. The access box has only a piece of wire on it and can be found directly behind phone. Bring a long enough chord (With alligator clips of course) and you'll be able to plug in and then sit on the secluded park bench up above.

The police in the area use VHF based radio. If you're in the Madeira Park area tune you're scanner to 148.7050. Outside the general area tune your scanner to 140.1900 for the master coast wide frequency.
