Marc Racicot

Marc Racicot (born 1948) is a United States Republican Party politician. He was the governor of Montana from 1993 until 2001. He has also served as chairman of the Republican Party. He won his 1996 election in a landslide, defeating his democratic opponent, Judy Jacobson 80%-20%. He has been sharply criticized by many members of the environmentalist movement.
