Mervyn's
Mervyn's is a neighborhood department store based in San Francisco. They carry national brands in family apparel and home fashions. Many Mervyn's are found in Malls or Shoping Complexes.Meryvn's was founded in 1949 by Mervin G. Mossis and opened its first store in San Lorenzo, California. Durring the mid 1990's Mervyn's tried a failed experiment to increase sales, by attempting to rename themselves "Mervyn's California".
Today Mervyn's is part of Target Corporation with sales of $4 billion and 264 stores in 14 states and 28,000 employees.
