Minor prophet
A minor prophet is a foreteller of future events depicted in the Old Testament. Twelve individuals have had their names attributed to a section of the Old Testament which has become known as the "Books of the Minor Prophets" or more often known as the Minor Prophets. The "Minor Prophets" are listed below in order of their appearance in the Old Testament:The term "minor" refers to the books' lengths, not their importance.
