Nandos
There are many franchises now of Nandos restaurant in Australia, South Africa, the UK, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and elsewhere.This is a Portuguese fast food restaurant where one orders and pays for food at the counter. Chicken in mild, medium or hot peri peri marinades are served with rice or chips. A chicken stick is given with the table number. Customers then collect their plates and cutlery plus additional peri peri sauces. The freshly cooked meal is then brought out to the table when ready. Notable is the hot chicken, old style chips and peri mayonnaise. Both their frozen yoghurt dessert and soft drinks are "bottomless". Many Nandos are halal to cater for the members of the many Muslim communities. (This may not be available at all outlets.)
