Nepali language

Nepali is an Indo-Iranian language spoken in Nepal, India and Bhutan. It is the official language of Nepal.

Nepali is commonly written in the Devanagari script.

Examples of phrases in Nepali include:

Namaste. -- all-purpose greeting that roughly translates as "I salute the god within you." (Namaste is also used as a salutation between New Agers)

Khana khane thaun kata cha? -- Where is a restaurant?

Kathmandu samma ko bato lamo cha. -- The road to Kathmandu is a very long road.
