Northampton & Lamport Railway

The Northampton & Lamport Railway is a short standard gauge Heritage railway in Northamptonshire England, and is roughly 10 miles (16 km) north of Northampton. It is built on the trackbed of a disused railway line, which used to link Northampton to Market Harborough.

The railway has preserved several elderly steam and diesel Locomotives and is a tourist attraction.

There are plans to expand the line into Northampton, although this is unlikely to happen for some years.
