Operation Corporate

Operation Corporate was the codename given to the 1982 British liberation of the Falkland Islands from Argentine occupation.

The 2 April, 1982 Argentine invasion, Operation Rosario, took the British by surprise.

The British counterinvasion was launched on 21 May, the capital city of Port Stanley fell on 14 June. 258 British subjects were killed restoring the islands to the government the residents desired.
