Peter Eisenman

Peter Eisenman is/was one of the foremost practitioners of deconstructivism in architecture.

The architectural drawings and plans of the buildings he created in the deconstructivitst context are very interesting aesthetically as is the theory he based these projects on.

However, the actual manifestation of these projects, that is to say, the actual "real life" architecture that has resulted, could easily be seen as cold and boring.

Mind you, this could also be said of many architects such as Tadao Ando, Richard Meier and Frank Gehry.
