Peter Jones
Peter Jones (June 12 1920 - April 10 2000) was most noted as an actor, principally for his contributions as the voice of "The Book" on The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy and his elegant repartee on the BBC Radio 4 programme, Just a Minute, although he was also a talented scriptwriter.He was born at Wem in Shropshire.
Peter Jones is also a Liverpool born Australian session drummer, who replaced Paul Hester in Crowded House. After the band split up, he played in Deadstar with Caroline Kennedy and Nick Seymour.
Peter Jones is also an artist who illustrated many British science fiction and fantasy paperbacks in the 1980s.External link
