Pina Colada

A Piña Colada is a sweet cocktail. The term refers to the Spanish word for pineapple (Piña) and colada, which refers to the act of straining the pulp or mash through a sieve. A non-alcoholic version is known as the Virgin Pina Colada.

This beverage is made of

  • 1 part coconut milk (widely available in bottles in grocery stores),
  • 1 part white rum
  • 2 parts unsweetened pineapple juice

Mix all ingredients with crushed ice.
