Queercore

Queercore is a musical genre distinguished by lyrics dealing with issues such as homosexuality, gay rights and gender identity, sometimes in a serious way, sometimes more light-heartedly. Musically, it usually resembles punk rock, power pop and similar genres.

Among the better known queercore bands are God Is My Co-Pilot, Pansy Division (made up of gay men) and Team Dresch (mainly made up of lesbians).
