Ram

A ram is a male sheep.

In Hinduism, Ram is a generic term that may refer to any deity. See List of Hinduism-related articles for more information on Hindu gods.

Ram is also the name of a Paul McCartney album, released in 1971.

A battering ram is a long siege weapon designed to break down doors, city gates, walls, etc.

In computing, RAM is random access memory.

Ram was also a naval ship class in the sixties years of the 19th century, whose principal weapon was its own bow. The bow of ram was hardened and reinforced to break the hull of an enemy ship. Rams were especially used during the American Civil War. They were often ironclads.
