Reese Witherspoon (born as Laura Jeanne Reese Witherspoon on March 22, 1976) is an American actress. She has starred in a number of films including Fear, Freeway, Pleasantville, Cruel Intentions, Election, American Psycho, Legally Blonde, The Importance of Being Earnest, Sweet Home Alabama and Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde.
Witherspoon was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She is 157 cm (5 ft 2 in) tall and has blonde hair and blue eyes.
Witherspoon married actor Ryan Phillippe on June 5, 1999. They have two children together, Ava Elizabeth Phillippe, born September 9, 1999 and Deacon Phillippe, born October 23, 2003.
She is known for her versatility as an actress, playing both comedic and dramatic roles and has won Best Actress awards from the National Society of Film Critics and the Online Film Critics Society.
